About The Project:
This was a new design and build project for Loughborough College. The project was undertaken on a occupied, live campus site and consisted of two education buildings the ‘VPA’ and the ‘Hub’. These two buildings were then connected via a two storey ‘link’ area.
The VPA is a two storey building consisting of a large full height theatre space complete with specialist sound and lighting, and classrooms around the perimeter.
The Hub is a three storey building, consisting of a large full height open space in the centre with teaching and student enrichment spaces around the perimeter.
The project has a roof top plantroom and utilises risers to feed the services throughout the buildings.
