£10-million Contract Award for new 330-acre National Football Centre in Staffordshire

Derrys have joined forces with Group Company B&K to help bring to light the FA's new National Football Centre near Burton Upon Trent, Staffordshire.

 

The newly renamed St. Georges Park, will be a permanent training centre for the England Team and is finally taking place eight years after conception.

 

The venue will be an inspirational site where coaches and players can work, learn and develop and will feature 12 pitches including 1 synthetic indoor along with Sports Medicine and Sports Science facilities, two hotels as well as conference and banqueting facilities.

 

The centre will be a first for England creating a much needed identity to inspire world class performances, bringing us in line with other European countries' that have national football centres.

 

The scheduled completion date is 2012.
