Derrys have been awarded the M&E contract works for the first phase of the Stevenage Bioscience Catalyst development, which is located on the GlaxoSmithKline research site at Stevenage.
The project comprises of two buildings which will form the first-phase of plans for a larger bioscience campus development, where scientists can collaborate with colleagues from industry to develop new pharmaceutical products.
The enabling works commenced in November 2010 with the main sub-structure works beginning in January 2011, with the aim of the first phase campus being operational by 2012.
Stevenage Bioscience is a £38m joint venture construction project which represents a huge investment for the future of Britain's bioscience.
