DBS have been commended for their committment to training by Willmott Dixon at their annual Supply Chain Conference and Awards 2015.
The event hosted at Villa Park, Birmingham, on Monday 28th September 2015 saw them presented with the Training and Staff Development Award by Peter Owen, Managing Director of Construction for the Midlands, for the 3rd time in 4 years.
DBS have been working with Willmott Dixon for over 10 years and in that time have recruited in excess of 80 mechanical and electrical apprentices - this equates to around 250,000 training hours as a direct result of the working relationship between the two.
Mark Townsend, Managing Director at DBS commented;
'We are thrilled to have been presented with this award. To have the merits of our training programme recognised and celebrated by one of our clients is fantastic, and something that we are very proud of. All of our staff play an essential role in the training and development of our team and it is this committment that has enabled us to grow our business successfully.'
