Winners of Training and Staff Development Award for the Second Year Running

Derry Building Services were honoured to collect the Training and Staff Development Award for the second year running at this year’s Newark Business Awards held at Kelham Hall on Monday 2nd December.

The category, sponsored by Newark College, was awarded to the company which demonstrated the most outstanding excellence in its approach to workforce development.

Mark Townsend, Managing Director, commented;

‘Training and staff development are not only important to the success of a business but imperative to its survival. We are committed to the development of our workforce strongly believing it is our responsibility to ensure that they have the tools and opportunities to succeed.

To win this award for a second time is a wonderful achievement - not only is it a great selling point for our business but also recognises all of the hard work that our staff put in both as trainers, trainees and mentors - something that we are very proud of.’
