About The Project:

This commercial development formed the figure head of the multi million pound Greenquarter Regeneration Programme. The super structure is built over a mains sewer on a brown field site forming part of a simultaneous development of a 280 room hotel and a 10 storey, 9,290 square meter, ‘Grade A’ office building along with basement parking for 195 vehicles.

The building has been designed with large open plan floor plates offering the flexibility to create an environment tailored to individual requirements. The roof level structure is designed to support mechanical plant areas including a helical wind turbine which has been designed and installed in response to the increase in demand where wind speeds are lower and wind direction changes are frequent.

The building is divided into the following areas:

  • Basement B5 (Sprinkler Tanks and Pump room)
  • Basement B4 (Car Park Area, incoming Gas and Electricity)
  • Basement B3 (Car Park Area, Transfer water Tank and Booster Set, Electrical Ring Main Room, Shower Rooms)
  • Basement B2 (Car Park Area, Boiler Room, Building Managers Office)
  • Basement B1 (Car Park Area)
  • Ground Floor (Reception (future), Office Areas (future) and Toilets)
  • Levels 1 to 12 (Office Areas and Toilets)
  • Roof (Main LV Plant Room, Chilled Water, Ventilation Plant and Domestic Water Areas)
