About The Project:

DBS were employed to complete the supply and installation of all of the Mechanical and Electrical Services to Phase 3 of the new Warwick University Business School Building. This was an extension of the existing Business School at the Coventry campus.

The project consisted of multiple teaching areas, open plan offices spaces and state of the art lecture theatres spread over 4 floors. The work was completed in a ‘live’ student environment without causing disruption to services in the existing Business School. All services, including fire alarms and door access systems, were linked to the existing systems whilst maintaining their operation.

A large photovoltaic system was also incorporated in the design to provide green energy to the Business School. These solar panels were sited on the roof of the existing building.
