About The Project:
This new data centre accommodates and consolidates all of the main IT infrastructure into a single location. It also accommodates the Imagination Technologies Emulator equipment. The site is made up of two 450m2 Data Halls of composite panels, one of which will remain empty for future expansion.
The building also comprises a reception area, offices, build room, toilets, plant areas and associated external works. Initially the data centre has been fitted out to accommodate an 800kW IT load located in hall 1. Suitable plant has been installed to support the day 1 load however in addition to this the infrastructure can support a day ultimate IT load of 1600kW. A Tier 2 resilience with single path N+1 on plant capacity, with standby generation limited to N has been provided. The provision to upgrade the generator installation to N+1 has also been provided.
