19th DBS Apprentice & Long Service Awards
Monday 18th November 2024 saw the 19th annual Apprentice & Long Service Awards at Derry Building Services.
Friends and family of the award winners gathered, along with those celebrating 10 and 25 years’ service to the company, to acknowledge the achievements of the 9 young men who would be named Apprentices of the Year in their respective fields.
Mr Jack Kirkland, B+K Group Chairman, attended the ceremony to bestow his congratulations on the winners and present the awards.
Managing Director Mark Townsend, and Directors Brian Hughes and Gregg Matthews were also in attendance to celebrate their outstanding achievement and commitment.
New for 2024 DBS introduced two additional awards aimed at the Project Management, Design, Commercial and Business Administration apprentices across the business.
The Technical Award celebrates the apprentice who has shown exceptional technical ability within their area of expertise, with the Professional Conduct Award acknowledging the apprentice who has shown exceptional professionalism and conduct within their area of expertise, either for a sustained period or a particular situation.
